Catholic Hermit: Depends on Faith, not the Law

Here we have it yet again, this time from St. Paul in Romans:

"It was not through the law
that the promise was made to Abraham and his descendants
that he would inherit the world,
but through the righteousness that comes from faith.
For this reason, it depends on faith,
so that it may be a gift,
and the promise may be guaranteed to all his descendants,
not to those who only adhere to the law
but to those who follow the faith of Abraham,
who is the father of all of us, as it is written,
'I have made you father of many nations.'"

This nothing consecrated catholic hermit (all lower case today because of the utter stripping that has occurred in the past few days) remains resting, for so much emptying out has left the body, mind, heart, and soul depleted.

Now is the time to simply wait for His Real Presence to fill me and shape me in the way and form He wills.

But I found the above Word of His Living Word, to be profound especially for Catholic hermits, for once more we have it from His Real Presence, the truth.  It is not actually, not verily, through law that we are consecrated, nor through law that we are given the vocational gift as hermits, but through the righteousness of God, given us as His children, chosen for this or that path and calling in life here.

It is through faith in His choosing and calling us, that we are whatever we may be called and chosen to be.  It is through faith and not through law, that we are God's children.

God bless His Real Presence in all of us, little children.  Let us love one another; and let us love firstly, God above all things!
