Catholic Hermit: Lord Have Mercy and Correcting Problem

I've been considering the posts regarding a contemporary hermit issue that has arisen and of which I'm hoping will be handled.  I've been writing of this, in my case-study chronicling approach.  But in this instance, I've decided to put the situation into draft mode for now.  Later, perhaps, when there is a past situation righted in the future, it can be hopefully a situation that will demonstrate resolution and example of types of challenges for hermits in contemporary times.

"Angel" has called. Yes, that is the parish visitor who will bring His Real Presence in Eucharist tomorrow.  It will be the first of Christ's coming to Solus Deus--to this dwelling in the form of His Body and Blood.

Despite the temporal efforts of settling in, dealing with worse spine pain, and attempting to resolve the problem and making positive progress, hopefully, I've started to bring in the spiritual library--books that have been boxed for about six years now.  A small booklet, The Mystical Journey of Angela of Foligno, captivates my interest.

It is time to begin reading and writing of what is universally and spiritually beneficial to myself and to you, dear readers.  The tedious challenges, even if pertinent to contemporary hermit life in our times, are temporal in a world, even the world of the temporal aspects of Church.  It is not thinking of God above all things, perhaps;  Angela de Foligno will have much to share on what matters most, the spiritual life of the Church, of our souls, and of our seeking union with God.

This nothing consecrated Catholic hermit's painful spine is reminding that it wants to rest and hopefully sleep.

God bless His Real Presence in us!
