Catholic Hermit, Revisted

Leaves on this Trident Maple are long spent, but what a glorious morning 'twas, a month ago, fog-laden mystery.

All is well here at Agnus Dei. Gratitude. Continuing on in living my Rule of Life (mine called the Nine S'). Good progress all 'round. Peace and joy. Much love.

Harp coming along slowly but beautifully. Often the only sound are the tinkling tones.

Growing in even greater comprehension of temporal Catholic world, with the necessary and positive aspects but also the negative snares...and the compelling benefits of learning the ways and means of the mystical Catholic world.

Yes, theologian saints have written of these "worlds" but use varying terms and descriptions. Not going to cite them, not necessary to dig back through books read.

Just keep breathing, forming strong strokes, swimming on out into the deep. Live the Catholic hermit life. Live the Nine S'. Grow in virtues. Pray. Suffer. Love.

Ah yes, the eremitic vocation is uniquely freeing. Unless one entangles in the nets of that which is trying (out in the negative aspect of the temporal Catholic world) to institutionalize a vocation by creating regulations seemingly out of thin air. Now and then a good practice to absorb anew the brief but pithy words of CL603 and the likewise brief 920-921 in the Catechism.

All peace on earth and in Heaven. nothing sends its love to all in this blessed Advent waiting....
